Graduation Requirements
A student must meet six requirements to graduate from Colorado High School Charter:
- meet or exceed the CHSC proficiency benchmark as measured by the NWEA's MAP test
- complete all requirements for Senior Portfolio
- meet all requirements for Senior Presentation
- earn twenty-four (24) or more academic credits (equally distributed among the 4 core classes)
- complete College Summit and Senior Seminar requirements
- complete Service Learning requirements
Regular school attendance is mandatory until all of these graduation requirements are met.
College Summit & Senior Seminar
Based on the College Summit senior class model, each senior is required to participate in the Senior Seminar year-long program. Students will complete a common college application, an entrance essay, a resume, and apply to three (3) or more colleges and/or post-secondary programs. Each student graduates from CHSC with a post-secondary plan.
